What does membership pricing include?

Memberships include access to coworking spaces, shared office spaces, meeting rooms, and other club amenities, with flexible options based on how often people use the space.

Is the space suitable for small to medium-sized teams?

Yes. Small to medium-sized teams can work from private offices, shared workspace, and meeting rooms with flexible terms, following local business guidelines from the City of Victoria: https://www.victoria.ca.

Are day passes available?

Day passes offer short-term access to shared workspace, meeting rooms, and club amenities. They are ideal for visitors, remote workers, or anyone wanting to try the space before committing.

What types of people use the space?

The community comprises freelancers, remote workers, founders, and small teams who value connection, comfort, and productive workspaces.

Is the space easy to reach, and what’s nearby?

Yes. The location is easily accessible from Victoria, Saanich, Oak Bay, and surrounding areas, with nearby transit and bike routes. Cafés, waterfront paths, and local services are close by, making it simple to step out for meetings, breaks, or a change of pace during the workday.

What are KWENCH’s regular business hours?

We’re staffed Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Members with 24/7 access can use their fob or the Optix app to enter any time. If you don’t have a 24/7 Membership, you’re welcome to use the coworking space during staffed hours.

Are your phone booths free?

Heck yes they are, and we encourage you to use them when you’re in the club. They do need to be booked, either in the Optix app or through our lovely Member Services team.

How do I book a boardroom?

New to KWENCH? You can book meeting rooms online. Members and regulars can book boardrooms directly through the Optix app.

Can I pause my plan?

Plan pauses follow the same notice requirements as cancellations. In both cases, we require one full calendar month’s notice, effective from the 1st of the month.

Can I book a boardroom outside of regular business hours?

Absolutely if you’re a Private Office, Resident Desk, or Hustle+ member. For non-members, the official answer is “not typically,” but you’re welcome to ask. A well-crafted email does wonders ;)

Do you still host weddings and large events?

We’ve scaled back on weddings and large event rentals to focus on creating the best possible experience for our members and day passers. We still host the occasional community-aligned event. If you’d like to pitch something, send a note to our Member Services team.

Is there parking?

Yes! There is free 1 to 2 hour street parking all around KWENCH (Pembroke, Discovery, Store, Government between Bay and Discovery, and most of Chatham). Paid parking is available in the Robbins lot on Store Street between Herald and Fisgard, usually around $14 per day. We also offer secure bike storage, so cycling is encouraged.

Can I bring a friend to work at KWENCH if I have a Membership?

Yes, within reason. If it’s their first visit, they get a complimentary trial day. After that, they’re welcome to purchase a day pass for $45 at the front desk. Our coworking space and shared office environment are perfect for collaboration.

How do I pay for fitness classes?

Members can simply have classes added to their invoice. Dropping in? Member Services will take care of you.

Can I attend fitness classes if I’m not a member?

Heck ya! Our community and wellness offerings are open to everyone, and we’d love to have you join us.

Is coffee and tea really free? What about sparkling water?

All included in your membership: coffee, tea, and sparkling water. Stay hydrated, stay happy.

Can I live here?

We get it, our club is cozy, inspiring, and easy to love. But no, you can’t sleep here. Please go home… eventually :)
